  1. sbw was kept under control by a much better side, and as for man of the match"are you kidding' AND AS FOR A PRESENT DAY LEGEND "h**l NO" THERE ARE PLENTY OF PLAYER AT THE MOMENT THAT ARE JUST AS GOOD,

  2. SBW musta got man of the match for giving Mason a cold with the breeze he made from that mistimed shoulder charge. No doubt SBW's a huge talent - but Mason and his big mouth won this round against the Dogs no doubt about it.

  3. he was an abosolute cat. SBW let Mason and the other former dogs (Myles, Anasta etc.) destroy the Bulldogs. I hate both teams but I like nothing better than seeing an over-rated, over-paid idiot like Williams get embarrassed like that.

    Dogs for the spoon 08

  4. SBW was good until the Roosters started to dominate, the defense was superb from the Roosters and SBW went into his shell after 20 minutes,   a fantastic first 20 from SBW but a very average match otherwise from him.

Present day legends are nothing, i could call Toupo a present day legend bc he is a h**l of alot more consistent that SBW.

Legends are from the past.. and when SBW nears retirement im sure he will be considered a great of the game.

  5. Not a legend. How can you be a legend while still playing? I think he will be when he's finished playing.

I thought he was close to best on field last night. He was the only one who looked like doing anything for the 'dogs. I'm just glad they didn't give Man of Match to Willy Mason.

He scored 2 tries that any decent running forward should have scored.

  6. Simple,NO and No!He's got to prove he's worthy of the present day legend status,he's good, don't think he's a present day legend though

  7. Sonny Bill was dead in the water, Willie showed him up but good. I never thought i'd say this, but 'onya Willie!

  8. sbw is a puppy. i would not call him a present day legend. he really hasnt proved to us that he is at this point. he shouldnt have been man of the match

  9. god are you people blind, he was doing offloads throughout the whole match, he was tackling in every set

  10. 1 eyed doggy n no way should he b man of match..if he played with half the heart luke patten does he'

    d b a legend

  11. Why does everyone think the guy is the ants pants..? he wouldnt be known the way he is if he wasnt picked up by the bulldogs... clearly no one from the dogs side deserve man of the match... they copped a flogging

  12. SBW is the best talent in the game atm. HE played well. Not well enough, but Lee te maari stepped up also, reni still to come back, and bobcat is MR.Consistent. An awesome back row

I do consider him a present day legend. He is awesome, no one can say otherwise. There is not one play in the NRL with his power, speed and skill all wrapped into one.

  13. SBW is still the best, a great footballer in this century. He is a greate tackler, and keeps the ball a live in tackles, off load. Not many forwards do that.

He is a super star in League, no one can dispute that.

  14. SBW played a decent game... off loading all night and defending well, it wasn't man of the match material but it was a decent effort on the night.

Pearce and the boyz performed well, however all the people praising Willie should watch the game again... he did very little and scored two tries that were set up for him... Biggest effort he did was posing like a douche.

If SBW's shoulder charge on him was miss timed... then Willie would be in hospital still... SBW pulled out of it cause cheapshots are for Roosters now.

Too Early for Legend... but he will be... He's the role model of the modern day NZ forwards.
