I'm thinking about buying one, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them that I haven't found out about them. If you have a similair Tiara you can tell me what you think about it too.

  1. Why do you people always claim you can't 'find' any information on something when all you have to do is GOOGLE if.

It took me all of 15 seconds to GOOGLE "Tiara Yachts" to turn ONE HUNDRED THIRTY EIGHT THOUSAND hits (138,000)...  Wouldn't that give you a lot more information than asking for a one sentence reply on Answers.

    GOOGLE is for RESEARCH

Answers is for asking frivolous questions and getting frivolous answers.

  2. I've always liked theTiara look.  These boats are so 80's  but are getting to be a little old.  Given the over $4.00/gal fuel cost your talking about over $130 an hour to run.  That and the resale value slipping because of the high fuel prices, I'd think hard about committing to this expense.  As for as performance and maintenance I'm satisfied but I think it's going to be more than you expect.  It's the little things like the head or bilge pump.   I'm thinking more and more of moving to a trawler style boat.

  3. A Tiara is a quality boat.  If high performance and style is what you want in a boat, then Tiara fits the bill.  Any boat that old is going to require a lot of expesive maintenace to keep in good shape.  Plan on doing major engine work if it hasn't been done already.
