Do you believe it was a conspiracy and by whom?

I was pretty shocked at the way the Queen of England handled her death. What do you think?

  1. tragic as it would for any such death. but the royal family is a joke. plp should worry about their own lives and get a life.

  2. Its sad

  3. It's been 10 years. Let the poor woman rest in peace. Her death, just like her life, was something that the royal family was not prepared to deal with. I don't think that driving while drunk is evidence of a conspiracy -- it was just a stupid, meaningless accident, and if it had been anyone but Diana, it would have been forgotten a week later.

I realize the movie, "The Queen", starring Helen Mirren, showed an extremely sympathetic version of events within the royal family during Diana's death, but the Queen's actions seemed better explained in that movie than by any other speculative source. In the end, Diana *was* honored far beyond her limited contributions as a former member of the royal family, so I'm not prepared to hang the Queen out to dry on this one.

  4. Diana died as the result of a car accident. The car she was in was being chased by paparazzi, and the driver,Henri Paul, was impaired. The only survivor of the car crash was the guard,Trevor Ree-Jones,the only occupant to be wearing a seat

belt. If only Diana had worn a seat belt,it is quite possible that she'd be alive today!

There is no conspiracy;it is best to get your information from creditable sources. Mohamed al Fayed,Dodi'ds father, is a very unhappy man;he has a grudge against the British establishment because they will not give him citizenship...no matter what he does, his questionable past haunts him.He is also the owner of the Ritz Carlton, the company who employed Henri Paul. His company bears some culpability in the deaths of the three.THe Ritz Carlton did nothing to stop Paul from driving, eventhough it has been reported that he was drinking before driving He may not have been fall-down,stumbling drunk, but he was significantly impaired so that he could not handle a car speeding down a road know gor it's history of crashes.

Queen Elizabeth was not very happy with Diana at the time of the princess's death.Diana had shown the Royals' faults to the public. But she had also been a good Princess of Wales, doing good deeds and gaining world fame and recognition. The Queen couldn't understand why Diana would want to throw the Royal life away because she was brought up with a different era's view on adultery. The Queen had an Edwardian outlook on marital life, a view that she got from her mother:men had affairs, women did not(or weren't caught). She didn't understand why Diana wanted out of the marriage;Diana gained other things if not her husband's attention. She had her boys, her charities...she didn't know or understand about Diana's problemsmabout her bulimia, about how her parents' break up affected her. The Queen is not an overtly emotional touchy-feely person;she was raised to be monarch,to be emotionally stable and duty-bound,a quite different outlook than Diana's.The Queen is also cut off from the common people by her courtiers, who think like her.so she had no idea about Diana's impact on the world. If The Queen had known how serious an impact Diana had on not just the UK,but the world, she would have been a bit more understanding and handled the events of the tragic death in a better fashion.

  5. That she was bumped off , everyone thinks something ain't right with the whole thing, and yes the queen was not that bothered was she ? says it all really.

  6. it was just a horrible accident caused by paparazzi

  7. I think Princess Diana death was an conspiracy by someone in the Royal Family....

  8. well she never paid my bills .....but  it was sad

  9. She died in a terrible car accident, which can happen to either you or me, which means she was also just human, like you and me and I think we should finally let her rest in peace, since knowing how she died will not bring her back.

  10. I was in Istanbul, the Egyptian tourists were so much more interested than I was. I'm old enough to have seen the divorce scandals of Princess Margaret, Princess Anne, etc. and have long since written off Queen Elizabeth as anything but a commercial matriarch.

I think it's too bad that the commercial royalty made Charles marry her then made it impossible for her to live in their house.

  11. I think it was a conspiracy and Prince Philip was heavily involved.  If Diana had lived she'd still be a thorne in the side of the royal family and Charles especially.  That's one theory for her killing.  The royal family couldn't tolerate her being around.  Not only that, William would be absorbed into their family and Diana would not see him very often and no doubt would object vehemently. I would.  The fact that she would object often to their antics would really p**s them off. So good-be Diana.  I'm not callous, I really liked Diana and feel she did a lot for that family and they still don't know it.

  12. Frankly, I don't see why anyone cares at all.
