"What do you think of these names?" The Boy Chapter :)

What do you think of these names? (It really doesn't matter if you don't, I am just curious how they would be taken by others)

How would you describe someone with these names? I.e, what kind of (personality) traits do you think they incite?

What would/could be good middle names?

Wyatt

Xavier

David

Adam

Quinton

Joseph

Note: I love making up baby names, but never worry too much about boys' names. They'd probably be named after someone in the family anyway.

  1. Wyatt: It is an okay name, and I always think of Wyatt as a cowboy name for some reason! LOL

Xavier: It is a cute name, and I always think of Xaviers as being very smart.

David : It is a cute but common name. I think of Davids as being manly, but sensitive too.

Adam: I love the name Adam. I think of Adams as being Kind and Gentle

    Quinton : A nerd name

Joseph: A nice name, and I think of Josephs as being smart and funny

  2. I know it sounds like fun to make up names but you have to look at the kid's point of view. You may have some fun thinking of "classy names" but the child has to live with your bit of fun, that could have different future conotations, for the reast of his or her life. For the sake of your children, name them already accepted tags. i.e. David , Adam or Joseph

  3. Wyatt James

    Jacob Xavier

    David Joseph

    Adam Lewis

    Quinton John

    Joseph Matthew

  4. Wyatt = Wyatt Earp (cowboy, old-fashioned western name, in my thoughts)

Xavier = Xavier Roberts (signed name on all Cabbage Patch Kids Doll butts, not so fond of, difficult to say) - seems nerdy

David =  Fine.  More common.  Don't care too much for nickname Dave. - normal guy

Adam = first man in Genesis, for those of the Christian faith, not my favorite, but not too common these days - " a d**n fool"...etc, etc.

Quinton =  Like Quint as nickname, not so fond of formal name on it's own, but if it's with a last name that works, might be very classy

Joseph =  Like the formal name, but not to big on the nicknames Joe or Joey.  Again, a normal guy type name.

I like the middle name "James" with all of these, except Adam.  I really don't like that name at all, and can't come up with a good fit for it.

  5. Wyatt is good.

But Wade is better. ;-)) Or spelled Wayd
