What are your opinions or reactions about Bangsamoro?

Are you talking about their bid to be a seperate judicial entity? (That's why it's been shortened to BJE in the Philippine media)

As far as I know, they cannot constitutionally do it, since the land that they are on (the geographical position) is considered part of the Philippine jurisdiction. Legally, I think they will need to get a referendum from the entire Philippine population to agree in the majority for them to do that (to be considered separate).

My question for the proponents are: Will they have their own President? Their own currency? Will they have a different form of government? I have loads more questions but they will have to answer those three sufficiently for me to continue my line of questioning.

I would have to read up on it at some point to offer any opinion. This people has apparently been fighting for self determination since the 16 th century. I had not heard of them until today.
