What are your predictions for the khan vs gomez fight?

i think gomez will give a good fight as he has nothing to lose but everything to gain,and i think khan will be well and truly tested.

Khan should win this by knockout. I expect Gomez to stick with Khan and land some good shots early, but later on he should be no match for Khan. Amir Khan improves to 18-0-0 with 14KO's, with an early 8th round KO

I think that Amir Khan will win by late round stoppage.  As Rob S has already pointed out, Gomez is far past his prime and is basically being used as a stepping stone in this fight for Khan.  Anything can happen, so if Khan gets overconfident, he may get dropped, but I don't think that will happen.  I think that he has learned his lesson from the first time that he got dropped and I think that he'll be more cautious and not underestimate his opponents.  Khan is currently in another league and I think that he'll prove it when they fight.

Gomez is a blown up Featherweight and long past his best, at Lightweight he lacks the power, at this point in his career he is far from the boxer he used to be and lacks discipline in the ring. It's yet another easy fight for Khan. Warren will point at Gomez's knockout record and say that the critics demanded Khan fight a puncher and Gomez is a puncher, but this was a long time ago and at a different weight. This fight is a joke. Khan needs to ditch Warren and find a promoter who will get him quality fights against quality opponents, unless of course he wants to be protected by Warren for the rest of his career. I'd love to see Gomez catch him, because he could knockout Khan, but realistically it'll be Khan in rounds 1-3. Gomez has nothing at all to lose and I hope he gets a nice pay day. This fight represents all that is wrong about British boxing and Warren's matchmaking.
