Question:

What are your reasons for starring a question?

I have two:

1. If I did infact find it interesting

2. If I found it interesting and hope that my contacts will be able to see it and also give a reply... I quite heavily rely on starring at times, as yahoo tends to decide at times to select q's I can and cant view. So if a contact has starred a question I cant see I'm able to access it.

what are you're reasons?

  1. You know what.. because you asked so nicely.. I'm going to give you a  star...

    you deserve one..

  2. Mine are exactly the same as yours Inno, I do it for myself and then for my "friends" on here so that they can also see the question.

  3. only when i find it interesting

  4. If I find it interesting. At a later stage I like to read over things again. And I star cos it wil make it easier to find it even when I dont answer. I might not have an opinion on that matter, but it would be nice to hear some others!

  5. I basically star every question that I have read through regardless of whether I have answered or can answer, I do this as every question asked is what keeps the forum moving, no questions, no Y/A's for any of us, rather a moronic worthless question than no question at all in my opinion.

  6. it gives you a better chance at getting the 10 points for best answer.

But these days I star if its different and interesting and valuable infor for others

  7. Lol Honey I only star a question if I find it intresting.xxxx

  8. I star a question, because I thought it was interesting or it deserved a star.

I don't really star so my contacts can see it, as I answer a lot of questions in other sections too. So it doesn't have any real meaning for them.

I also can only see some questions. I think the problem is that Yahoo doesn't update our section as often as it should. If I see a new question I put it in my Watchlist to read through it and answer a later stage.

  9. I star if the q is interesting, and also because I want my contacts to answer it. Sometimes I have no answer, but find it interesting, and then I star it  and check later on to see what replies have come in.

Reb, I do not know with what YA country you are registered. If you are say for example, registered with the United Kingdom YA, then when you sign in, you will automatically be directed to the United Kingdom page.  On the left hand side of the page below categories and related links, there is a box saying:

Show and you can choose between seeing ONLY the questions posted by users registered in the UK, or All English  Questions.  Just tick the All English Questions if you want to see them all.  Or when you scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the Australian or USA flag, and you will get all the dot com questions.  There you can also choose ONLY USA or Aus questions or all English.

I prefer the Australian Yahoo 7 site.

  10. It i find it interesting and want other contacts to also read and enjoy it, i star a question
