All great suggestions but, look at my user name. Yep, big, ugly, hairy MAN. I would rather find something that smelled like a skunk that works rather than something that smelled ,well like a sissy and works. I am thinking Terpentine, Kerosene, Motor oil, Axel grease, you know, tuff guy stuff.

Any help?

  1. I swim about 3-4 times a week, and this is generally the routine I do when I go swimming. First of all, I don't wear lotion or cream or anything actually in the pool, because that's bad for the pool. When I get out, however, I immediately take a shower and make sure to wash with soap and rinse thoroughly in order to get all chlorine off my skin. While I'm still wet from the shower, I put on a body oil (Palmer's Cocao Butter Body Oil w/ Vitamin E) and let that sink in a few seconds before patting dry lightly with a towel. This is sometimes enough moisturization, but sometimes I will also put on Alba Moisturizing lotion with SPF 15, that is natural and feels very nice and creamy without any stickiness or greasy factor. Sometimes at night, I also use Dove Regenerating lotion if I feel I need it, but it's summer so for me this is enough. Hope that helps!

  2. i swim everyday and what i youse for my skin is burts bees soft all over with  rich, soothing natural moisturizing body lotions with more than enough vitamins and minerals , body creams and body butters. that are 100 % natural your skin will be as soft and radiant with the glow of beauty and health of heaven and won't even know the word dry anymore ! and also check out there soaps and baths ! here is there site and good luck !

  3. Washing with a moisturizing body wash after swimming helps a lot. I like using Olay Ribbons with creme ribbons (http://www.olay.com/boutique/olaybodycle... ). You can also try the lotion ribbon, or body butter ribbon variations.

Moisturizing right after the shower is also important. For that you can use whatever body lotion you prefer, the idea is that you're trapping water from the shower on your skin and allowing it to sink in. Make sure you've rinsed really well from your shower first though.

One of my favorite cremes/lotions that I like to use when I'm not around the pool is Eucerin (http://www.eucerinus.com/products/hb_ori... ). It's pretty basic and works well, but the creme can feel a little greasy.

  4. Olay lotion. It moisturizes, is oil free, and has SPF 15.
