What happened when you did? Do you think it's a good idea for me to buy a ouija board and use it just for fun?? Or are they seriously dangerous.

And don't say "if you don't know, you're not smart enough to have one"

I just want stories and opinions.

  1. They are dangerous. When you play with an ouija board, you are inviting demonic forces into your life, and im not kidding. It is a very real and scary thing. Please, dont get one... they may be "fun" for a little while, but it isnt worth it.

  2. my friend has a 4 year old son and he was sleeping upstairs and her and i was using it on Halloween and there were a couple of other people there with us and they never used it before and we asked to show us a sign that you are here with us and we heard a voice come from upstairs from the sons bedroom.  i went up to check on him and his father left the TV on the channel 29 before he left he watches it and goes to sleep.  it was actually warm that night and as i was walking up the steps it was getting colder and i can see my breathe in the air and i got to the doorway and something was like nudging me in the back to go in the room.  i walk in and the channel was changed to channel 34 and it wasn't accessible by the TV u need a remote and it was downstairs with us.  He was sweating really bad and i took him down stairs and i went back up to the room out of curiosity lol and the channel was changed back to 29 and the coldness of the room just left and the funny part was that my ex-girlfriends favourite number was 34 and we were just talking about her.

  3. ouija boards are jokes.

  4. ok well me and my girlfriend(Rebecca)  and and my brother Dann and my bestfriend Grieg and his boyfriend Marco (there g*y) and my older sister Jamie bought a ouiji board at this weird ghost pshycic paranormal magic store place, this one friday night.

We took it home and opened it. Read the directions

we started asking it questions. Marco went first. He didnt know what to ask so he asked what he would get for his birthday, the oracle started to move towards the letters, and they spelled out random letters..... it was something like  qyeeregrtt. Then after arguing about if one of us was moving it.

It was my turn and i asked it if  it was a boy or girl.

It didnt move.... Then i asked it if was a boy.. The oricle moved to yes. Then i asked another question

i asked if it was a mean spirit. it said no

Then Greg tried, he asked when he was going to die.... It told him random numbers again. it was sumthing like 79191....... i dont remember the rest. Then Marco grabbed the oricle and then pushed it off the table, then the picture that was on the coffee table fell off... (it was no were near the edge)

the noise was enough to scare marco out of the room.... Then greg and I chased after him into the hallway. The everyone elst came out with us. becuase they didnt want to be in there alone i guess. Then we thought about it and we put it away. becuase we all got kinda scared.  So we just went downstairs and watched tv

I would not recoment getting one, you can let demonic spirits into your life..

  5. Parker Brothers did not invent the Ouija Board. It had already been around for awhile when it was bought by Parker Brothers in 1966 and turned into a commercial success as a board game. Its beginnings lie in the distant past when an earlier version (a tripod device) was used in the ancient ways of Babylon and Greece to contact departed spirits. The tripod became the pointer now used with the Board, which is printed with the alphabet, the numbers 1-9, a 0 (zero), and the words 'Goodbye', 'Yes', and 'No'. There are other boards like this with different names, but with the same history and purpose. The modern version of this game was developed by a man named Planchette, a spiritualist (someone who contacts the dead as part of their religion). The Board was further transformed around the turn of the century under the direction and ownership of two men, Elijah J. Bond and William Fuld. Fuld’s name can be seen on the Ouija Board today. The name Ouija is a combination of the French and German words for 'yes': Oui and Ja. According to Bond and Fuld, the Board suggested its own name. The primary purpose of the board is and always has been to contact disembodied spirits. Contacting the dead is called necromancy, and contacting spirits is spiritism, both strongly condemned by God (Deut. 18:9-12; Lev. 19:31, 20:6; I Sam 28, II Kings 21:6; Is. 8:19, 19:3-4). The Board’s translated name, 'yes, yes', is an ingenious and subtle way to invite spirit contact. Dead people cannot hang around after death; you cannot communicate with a dead person. The practices and techniques of contacting the dead and contacting spirits are used widely in the occult. Although the pointer is often moved intentionally or subconsciously by the players, you are putting yourself in a vulnerable position when using the Board. By 'playing' this 'game', you are showing an interest in spirit contact. If contact is made, it is demons (evil spirits, fallen angels), not the dead, who are responding. If Satan can disguise himself as "an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11:14), then it is not improbable that fallen angels can disguise themselves as the dead. The Ouija Board is not harmless just because it is marketed as a game. Satan, the master of deception and seduction, is good at twisting the truth into lies (Gen. 3:1-6; Jn. 8:44). Satan likes disguises and his lies are often disguised as games. The next time you are tempted to play the Ouija Board as a game, look beyond its disguise and see it for what it really is. Think about this: Just what or who are you trying to contact? God tells us to seek Him instead of the dead (Is. 8:19), and Christ "lives forever to plead with God" on behalf of those who believe Him (Heb. 7:25). Who wants the Ouija Board when you can know the One Who has "complete authority in heaven and on earth!" (Matt.28:18). If you are wondering about Christ, think on His words in John 5:23-24, "He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father , who sent him. I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

  6. An Ouija Board really is  not a toy.You might get one and nothing ever happen except you and your friends sit and push the pointer around to scare each other but you might open a doorway to something you really would regret.I used to talk on one until I was followed after a session and pushed down the stairs by someone not there. I felt the hand on my back.We had to get a Priest to come in twice before it left us alone.I wouldn't touch one now for nothing in this world. It's not worth the problems that can happen. If you want a game that's fun, safe and you wonder how it works, get one called "20 Questions." You will love it! You pick a name of a person, place or thing. It will ask you 20 questions and tells you what you picked. It really works and it is weird!! It's a lot more fun but hard as you try, you can't fool it.

  7. I have posted this in another question, but this is my personal experience with the ouija board.  It was my first time and last time using the ouija.  I also thought it was going to be funk, but i was in for a real surprise.

I have used it one time with a group of people i barely knew at a retreat for fun, but it turned out to be frightening. After being like the 5th couple to use the board with no results before me, the two of us contacted a spirit. We asked for its age, initials, where it's from and how they died.

After the initials and town i knew it was my sister that had passed away, who no one knew about but me. I started crying and crying but they told me not to stop because they thought it was cool. the other person kept asking questions and i was just crying the whole time and was so scared and shaking. They last question that we asked was, "why are you here." the spirit answered, "S..I..S" It was no doubt that it was my sister. it gave me the chills, but i know that my sister a good person and not a bad spirit.

I'd probably never use it again. the feeling is undescribeable...At first i was scared that i was messing with a demonic object, but many people have told me afterwards that it is a spiritual thing.

    conclusion: IT'S REAL!
