Ok, i live in a rather small town with nothing to do, so my friends and i picked up bicycling as a hobby, just as something to do. We just ride around town in a small group. Well, over a period of time we've gotten better with jumping and balancing, etc....Well. i always just used a bike i had around the house. just an old mountain bike. nothing special. well I rode the h**l out of it and the back wheel is bent and it doesnt shift right. No big deal. i knew it was a matter of time before it fell apart.

Well now its time to get a new one. if you have a suggestion on what type of bike im looking for...im not real experienced so i dont know what bikes have what qualities. I thought maybe a small or mid sized bike. light in weight. durable wheels, meaning they wont bend easily (if it exists)....thats pretty well the idea of it..anyone have a preference or abike they suggest? Thanks for the help

  1. If you can afford it, a jumping bike sounds like it would fit your needs perfectly. The Specialized P series (like the P3 mentioned by another answer) and the Trek Jack come to mind as decent choices. Another thought would be to get a single speed mountain bike, which can sometimes be found fairly cheap, and usually have excellent components.

  2. For around town, jumping and tricks I would look at the Specialized P3. It is a very durable (tough wheels), has a 4 inch bomb proof fork and a super fun nimble bike. Out of all my bikes (7) its by far the most fun for messing around town, dirt jumping and park. Check it out. I'm sold!

  3. The Giant Boulder SE is the perfect bike for your style. It's a freeriding/mountain bike that will allow you to tighten or loosen the suspension to your needs. It's not expensive, but don't let that fool you it is a great bike and handles all terrain well. You can also change the tires on it for free of charge at a Giant dealer. (any store that carries Giant Bicycles). You can also look into the Giant Rincon which is more offroadish but has the same Road/Dirt capability. It is also about $100 more than the Boulder SE. You won't be dissapointed CMac!

  4. easterns for what it sounds like your doing. eastern, free agent, or fit.
