I am an Indian living in India, to me my country is beautiful with its diverse culture, tradition, religion, food habits, different atair in different states & with 4 seasons.  Unity in diversity makes India unique & kept India closely bound together.  With its ancient civilization, Forts & Palaces, beautiful traditional, ethnic & fine textiles, Indian cuisine &  well know hospitality.  If haven on earth to be experienced, its here in India !

I don't think I would make plans to visit India any time soon but it looks interesting.  However I plan to visit Morocco before I plan to visit any other country.

I am from the US.  I visited India in 2001.  I absolutely loved it.  I went to Bombay, Delhi, Agra, and Kerala.  I liked Kerala the best.  If I come to India again I would like to see Ooty, Bangalore, Thekkady, Trivandrum, Rajastan, and Kashmir if it is safe at that time, otherwise Sikkim.  However I am not sure if I will return to India.  You can only take so many trips in life, and I wonder if I should see everywhere once before seeing one place a second time.  And I will certainly die in the next 70 years, and that is probably not long enough to see *everywhere* once.

I'd love to come to India!  I've always been fascinated by the culture.  The women look so beautiful in their saris.  I don't think I'll go swimming in the Ganges though.
