Berbatov was a good signing, and it will be interesting to see how United fit him in the team.  Corluka is a good right back for Spurs.  Newcastle have signed a couple of players with potential.  I didn't see much of Everton's new signing against Liverpool, and it seems a lot of money for someone out the Belgian League.

All I can think about the stunning Robinho deal is that Madrid decided that they did not want to sell to Chelsea because they are a champions league rival or Chelsea backed out.  I cannot understand why Robinho would choose City over Chelsea otherwise.  Should be an interesting signing anyway, and Jo, Petrov, Elano, Robinho and Wright Phillips is a decent attacking line-up by all accounts.

Berba deal was nail biting

but the Robinho deal defied all logic. What will he do there? Take pleasure in beating Man U in the derbies? He needs to be at big clubs so that Dunga can pick him always!!!!
