What are your thoughts about ZIPCAR or FLEXCAR?

The companies merged last year....

I am writing a report about the Zipcar service and why the company should expand over to where I live. I've never tried it before but I have heard short stories about it and it sounds awesome. Awesome enough to write a term paper about it :/

I found tons of information about both companies through their websites and from other credible resources, but I'm having trouble finding customer feedback because the people who live where I'm at have either never heard of it or they only know a little bit about it. Basically they're are of no use to me at the moment...

What I really need are comments or even suggestions from people who have used the service at least once or those who use it frequently. Anything you have to say about the service would be extremely helpful to me!

its shame that flexcar was bought by zipcar

since zip car got rid of a lot of locations where they had

cars, making it hard for people who wantted the servie

but what i think they should is a one way rental

(ie you pick up your car (say at Union station but drop it off

in Santa Monica )

instead of making you return it to same location

also have interstate services pick up/drop offs)
