Sometimes

the November sky

resembles a speck of dirt

inside the delicate nail

freshly sprouted

on the finger of a baby

                                     DEPRESSION

it sweeps over you like fire

and shadows over your every will

depression

it never disipates

no matter how loud you scream

depression

no matter how deep you cut

how much you bleed

depression

it still remains

grinning, laughing

depression

at the pain you feel

at the people you worry

depression

you try to fight it

but you always lose

depression

you scream "leave me now! let me be!

and grab your razor

depression

you slice deeper

bleed harder

depression

all you love is lost

the world seems black and white

depression

until your lieing on the floor

staring into space

depression wins, you lose

It is fall and although the leaves are turning great colours and beauty is all around, there are times when I feel rotten and it mars the beauty around me.
