What are your thoughts of McCains choice of running mate?

Does it set a prime example for the means of which all American society perform? Don't you think a mother of 5, with an infant at home at home and a grand child on the way by her 17 year old minor child whom she allowed to get married would make an excellent president should God forbid, McCain have a heart attack shortly after being elected. I mean, heck, you know, I don't see how it could possibly effect her as a parent, I'm sure she would be perfectly capable of running a country and not neglect her children in any way right?

Being a mother and a grandmother and having a handicapped child doesn't make you unfit to be President. However, not having ANY experience besides being mayor of a small town for a couple years and 20 months being governor of a state with the population of 10 people doesn't make you qualified. Also, they obviously didn't do much research on the woman, which is why they are vetting her now. This woman doesn't believe s*x ed. should be taught in public schools and she believes in abstinence only. You can't stand firmly on those things, with a pregnant 17 year-old daughter, and expect people to not laugh at her candidacy. It's proposterous. Also, don't forget she is under investigation for having her ex brother-in-law fired from his state trooper position. From my standpoint, she looks pretty guilty there. It's just ridiculous that McCain is trying to make people believe that she is the BEST he could come up with to be his running mate. He obviously only chose her to win. The USA's best interest was not what he was thinkng about, and that is sad.

And if you are talking about looks, Obama has her beat there. That man is so fine, and he has the character to match.

they're calling you sexist and you're not. Let's get racial up in this piece. If Palin is black; isn't she the typical "project mom"? If she was black would they be asking how can a "project mom" be a heartbeat away? Let's say she was Maxine Waters and her daughter was pregnant. Just because she white doesn't mean that she doesn't;t have the same pathology.

People need to listen to the one good thing Obama has said lately, and that is "families are off limits"  He said this is not about a teenage girl with a baby on the way, it's about the candidates.  All children do things that are bad choices, and that they know better.  It has nothing to do with having good or bad parents.

As far as being a mother of 5, her husband is a father of those same 5.  Being a parent isn't all on her.  The Clintons took office with a teenage girl.  Hillary was very involved in politics, should Hillary have stayed home and out of the main stream politics because she has a child?  

My opinion matters because I was a single dad for 18 years, age 1 to 19 and all the while working a full time job.  Not the same as the White House I know, but Sarah Palin and her family will be just fine.  Try paying attention to the issues and stop acting like a liberal for a change.

2 years of senate experience, 2 years of running a campaign, a community organizer, sounds like we'd be in a lot of trouble as a country.

Why is he on top of the ticket any way?

I did hear that McCain is healthy, and good to go though. So luck for that.

Were also luck Sarah has a full family, and husband to take care of the kids when she is busy.

Some pro choice people would prefer her daughter not get married I guess.  Sarah should just tell her no.

John Mccain would be a serious blow to scientific and medicine advances

He is planing to make a federal law and crime against stem cell research to cure diseases, blindness, paralysis etc.

So basically God is going to protect us from the various viruses and inherited diseases that we would contract.

Iam betting those unfortunate paralysed people, blind people are loving this new law if Mccain gets elected.

I think she is a right wing extremist that signifies McCain's pandering to the right wing.

I think his choice was strictly tactical in order to bring weak minded Hillary voters to his side. I think his choice was a poor one especially since Palin is against all the things that HIllary stood for so he is not fooling intelligent Hillary supporters as he planned.
