What are your thoughts of spin rather than raw pace attack for Lahore & Karachi pitches Asia Cup 2008?

i think u re right in ur assessment...pakistani batsmen wont be troubled with indian spinners...however if karachi pitch favors bounce, then piyush chawla can trouble pakistanis..

congratulations....It is obvious that MOST  Pakistani batsman will most likely have no problem with the Indian spin bowlers,..

but my pick is Yusuf , Yunis and Salman,...

they are rejuvenated after that kit ply final ,... looking good..~

Pakistanis are usually spinning  gr8s. like Abdul Quadir,Saqlain Mustaq..other batsmen  will face difficulty to play their spin, specially afridi's bowling.

There is point you make here. I would beg to differ from many of the posts here.

I believe, that is is spin thats very likely going to decide the outcome. The batsmen of all the 3 teams will look to accelerate against the slower bowlers. It is here that their wicket taking or containing abilities will come into play.
