What are your thoughts on Jamie McMurray?

Do you like him?

Since Jack Roush has to cut down to 4 teams, do you think he'll be left out (Kenseth, Edwards & Biffle already resigned)?

Will he get another ride if he gets let go at Roush?

I don't think that he will be let go, but if he does I don't think that he will have a problem finding another ride. He's a young driver with a lot of talent that I don't believe he has even had the chance to show yet.

Well to be honest I think he has the worst luck out of all the drivers in the garage, because whenever I look for him in the positions he's usually in the top 15 or top 10. but the there is always some crazy accident of someone elses making that ruins his day

-you dont win your second start for nothing

-He's gonna break through sometime and win many more races I can guarantee it

I don't really now much about him, my two guys are Dale Jr and Tony. But if he keeps running into guys like he did Dale Jr he wont get to far.

i like mcmurray but he like eliot sadler jusy in the feild to make up the numbers i could name a few more too that go out and jusy drive around trying to stay out of trouble and collect paychecks but mcmurray isn't like sadler jamie has to ynleash the beast still and i think we have still to see his best unlike sadler

I have been a huge fan of Jamie's since he drove the #27 Williams truck. I think he will be the odd man out unless he starts performing, then unfortunately Ragan will be the odd man out. But just because the other drivers are re-signed doesn't mean they will stay. In the last few seasons we have seen on many occasions we have seen drivers be fired from contracts and drivers ask to be released from their contracts, just as we are about to see in a few weeks with Tony Stewart. If he leaves or gets released from Roush I think he will find another ride. I don't think it will be a top tier team.

I like McMurray, seems like a down to earth type of guy. Unfortunetly I think he'll be the odd man out at Roush if he doesn't start performing a bit better. Though he might just be moved over to Yates for all we know.

I think he is secretly hired by 1) Joe Gibbs or 2) Teresa Earnhardt to take out Dale Jr.

My speculation is Jammie will be driving for DEI before long.

I like him and I don't like him.

The only reason I don't like him is that David might lose his ride if Jamie starts racing better.

I think he might get another ride it just might be in Nationwide though.

Also by the way Kenseth is only signed till 2009 and they don't have to cut a team till the end of the 2009 season.

So it's Kenseth, McMurray, and Ragan.

But seriously people be nice! He's a pretty good driver. I think he would be much better off on a different team though.

And no he's not g*y! He's got a girlfriend her name is Christy and they've been dating for a pretty long time.

Jamie McMurray is a clean driver, but aint got what it takes to win. Yes he probaly will if he does, but i doubt he will. Don't 4get Casey Mears is looking too, so I aint sure.

It's gonna be Him Vs. David Ragan to have RFR's fourth car, the other goes to Yates, unless something crazy happens and Kenseth leaves. Yates is on the up this season though, so as long as Yates can find sponsorship, which shouldn't be a problem since Jamie and David are really marketable drivers, I don't think either of them is going to be hurting at Yates.

He's a driver who has potential(You don't win in your second start by luck.), Someone will want him if he chooses not to go to Yates.

EDIT: I see 88 Dominates is being a silly sausage again.

I watched him win at Daytona, good race.

I think Jamie will end up landing at Yates, and I am comfortable with that. Travis, David, and Jamie would make a good team. Its obvious the team is on the incline after having some terrible years. Jamie wouldn't be leaving Ford either.

He's a good driver but doesn't fit anywhere with his current team. And so the guy has a hair complex. He has won twice as many races as Casey Mears (LOL) and didn't need a famous racing uncle to show his way into racing.

He's OK. He's a so-so driver. But him winning last year's Pepsi 400 really impressed me! That was a really close finish!

McMurray is my least favorite driver from my home state, as well as my least favorite driver from my favorite team.  That said, he's alright.  Not great, but not bad.  Personally, I think he needs to find a team that will help him succeed.  I have no doubt in my mind that he'll get another ride when Roush lets him go (I don't think it's an if).  To be quite honest, I could seriously see him going back to Ganassi.  He's certainly better than what they have now, and he could bring them sponsors.

I don't like or dislike him. He's kind of just there. I've read over and over that he's supposed to be really talented, but his results don't reflect that...not sure what his obstacle is.

He'll definitely be the one to go at Roush. I'm sure he'll get another ride, just not with a top-tier team.
