What are your thoughts on Keith Jardine vs. Brandon Vera?

I am pulling for Jardine, should be an interesting fight.

I gotta say, I hope the UFC and Dana White are paying Jardine more than they have been. They keep putting him in high status fights, but don't reward him with much money at all. If they give him the shaft again I will really start pulling for Affliction. Affliction PAYS their fighters.

By the way, Thiago vs. Lyoto is going to be insane. I have been pulling for this matchup for a long time. This is a GREAT card.

Assuming he learns how to cut weight properly, I would pick Vera. I think he is a better striker and much better on the ground. Jardine beat Chuck only because his style matched up really well against him.  He beat Griffen with a lucky punch. Despite these two big wins, I still think of Jardine as a second-tier fighter.  I really don't like Vera though, so I'll be rooting for Jardine too.

Vera is a much more well rounded fighter than JArdin. Vera just needs to know how to cut weight better. Vera's stricking abilities surpases jardine and I dont think jardin has a good groung game.
