What are your thoughts on Ken Patera ?

Great worker who obviously impressed Vince despite being somewhat injury prone and his conviction/jailing in the mid- 1980's.  I think he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame.  I heard a rumor that he may have had a championship run last year with an indy fed down south, but I haven't been able to find any confirmation of it.
