  1. If you're talking about nuclear power plants, I think that for some regions it may work, but for Australia it is the wrong path to go down. There are many other forms of renewable energy available, and being a generally dry, hot nation we should utilise the biggest resource that we have; the sun. Wind power is another option, and whereas nuclear power is cheaper, I still don't think that it is the solution. As humans we can't be trusted. If you are ever considering nuclear power as an option, then just look at Chernobyl.

  2. The way to go is nuclear power.  The only problem in the past is that they tried to make them too big.  Sumbarines and other places use nuclear power just fine.  It is the most effective.

  3. Destroy them all before they desrtoy mankind itself.

  4. Without power plants you would not be able to ask this question here. People who hate power plants hate the society they depend on to feed them. I agree that we should respect the environment, and the truth is America does a better job of protecting our envirnoment than any other developed country. If the liberals who blame America first for every problem both real and imagined would go to China and see how polluted it is now they would blow a fuse.

  5. While there are negative effects of power plants - predominately pollution (which includes greenhouse emissions), the benefits far outweigh the negatives.

Without power plants, we would not have gotten to the point where we are nowadays with having a safe food supply due to widespread presence of refrigeration in our homes and food distribution system, medical care would be aking to the mid-1800's level and live expectancy much lower than it is now, and so forth.

  6. nothing wrong with power plants it"s the goof balls that don't know how to run them safe.
