What are your thoughts on Ricky Rubio?

i heard some people saying he was overatted? but could you imagine getting any 17 year old high school player and putting him in the olympics against all starz!! how do you think he would do in the NBA, what are your thoughts on this guy?

  1. h**l be a solid player in couple years in the nba, but i doubt h**l become an all star caliber player.

    i see him as a slower less athletic rajon rondo.


  2. He's got some good passing and handling.  If his shot improves as well as physical strength (the latter is more possible obviously), then he'll be a pretty good NBA player.

  3. He has a lot of room to improve, but he was labeled as a prodigy in Spain, he has raw talent that surpasses almost all American prospects. He'd fair well in the NBA, but it would take a season or two for him to be at the level of a starting PG on a good team.

He is a completely different type of player than the past international players to come to the NBA.  The person that is closest to his type of play is Ginobili.  Ricky Rubio is a natural point guard and his under standing of the game is great and he has really good Defense.  I give him a year and a half, when hes 19, and he will be a top pick in that years draft.  

  5. i say dont draft that player in the nba draft of 2009 caz he is a bust like andrea Barngani and th other bust international player

  6. He does get some hype.  I'm not that familiar with his game, but from what I've seen he looks like a nice player.  Can you imagine being 17 and playing against pros and for your country in the Olympics?  I think he's done pretty well under the circumstances.

  8. not that great at first sight but once he comes to the nba after his 3rd season he will be a dominate player
