What are your thoughts on obama's prayer being leaked?

A israeli newspaper got their hands on this prayer he put in the wall in Israel. What are your thoughts? Do u think they should've kept it private?

They should have kept it private. A prayer is something very personal between the person and whatever entity he or she believes in.

1. For one thing I believe it should have been left alone, it is private.

2. I also believe that it was inevitable that what he wrote and stuck into the Wailing Wall would become public.

3. I believe that Obama knew that eventually his prayer would become public and therefore wrote what has been made public {"Lord — Protect my family and me. Forgive me my sins, and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will."}: it's a great mini-campaign speech.

I believe it was very intrusive. As someone above me wrote, prayer is a very personal thing.

I do wonder though, how some Obama fans, who are often quick to criticize Bush and the religious influence on his political beliefs, feel about their man being an instrument of the Lord's will to potentially lead the country.
