I like him, always have. He's very intense and has that desire to win races. Not to mention that he's a nice guy and has a lot of class. He may not be my favorite driver but he's another one of the drivers that I do like.  :`))

He is one of nicest, cleanest drivers out there, races everyone clean, he is very consistent, great driver he is over due for a championship he is in 2nd place now. I think he is a great guy and great driver..

i thank he is a great guy but he not my best driver i hope he wins the chase i rather see him when the Chase  because he is a nice guy and he looks like a honest person

I really like him.  I like him because he is a chilled out laid back guy.  However if you push him, he'll let you know.

I think he is a good driver too.  Sort of like Mark Martin, knows his tracks, steady (not cocky) and shows up in the top 10 in the end.

He is a great ambassador for Nascar. One of the most well respected drivers in the garage. He is also one of the drivers under my umbrella of drivers I pull for.

Very good driver not a dale sr or gordon but he can handle his own he will  get a championship

I like Jeff Burton.  He is not my favorite but he ranks up there on my list. I liked him better when he was with roush, but i still like him. He has never done anything to make me not like him. He is probably my favorite chevy driver.

I've got nothing bad to say about Jeff, seems like a nice enough guy, and he's been rock solid all year.  I could never see myself being his fan though.

He doesn't have the "edge" that I like in my drivers..

He's one of the few drivers left that the young drivers should model themselves after.  He's got talent, he races clean and he conducts himself like a gentleman.  He is the best full time driver left that hasn't won a championship and I hope he does because he deserves it.

Not a bad guy, consistent driver.  If there's ever been a clean racer, Burton is the definition.  I can't remember ever seeing him wreck anybody.

He's in my Top 10 faves, the bottom half, but he's in there none-the-less.

i like him - he's consistent but with the drive to win. his battles with rowdy at the-then busch race in vegas last year, then the cup race at bristol later that year showed he has both class and some "fire in his belly."

i also love his quote that he doesn't mind being many people's "second favorite driver."

He is a very good driver, but that's not the reason I like him. He gives the funniest, most candid answers I have ever heard from a driver. When ask why Ward's accent was so much different from either of his younger brothers', Jeff replied " Because he grew up in the southern most part of the house." And several years back at Darlington. when asked about his close finish with Gordon, after some fine rubbing .He said " h**l yeah I was trying to wreck him"

He's a great guy, driver, and mentor to younger drivers. He can get the job done without wrecking people. I think he's a lot of peoples 2nd favorite driver and a guy you always like to see have a good finish. He's a guy who really deserves to win a championship and I hope to see him get one before he retires.

In other words, I like him :)

I really like Jeff - when I first started watching NASCAR, his brother was one of my favorite drivers...though I can't remember why now!  LOL!!

I think Jeff even though he isn't that old has more of the "old school NASCAR mentality" - but I could be wrong about that.  Just my take on it.

He appears to be a very well-respected, responsible solid driver who DEFINITELY has not gotten nearly enough credit this year!  I know in years past he hasn't always been in this position but he has been where he is today from the start of the season...and why he hasn't gotten more credit for that is something I don't understand!

It would be great to see him win tomorrow on his birthday - anyone know how many drivers have ever won on their birthdays?
