  1. I think it would be great if they put the calories on special menus available by request.

  2. I know it would drive off some diners if they actually saw the values of what they are consuming but I personally would welcome it.  I want to know what I'm eating, be it at McDonalds or a larger sit-down chain or even a fancy restaurant.  I think it would help consumers be more educated and possibly help the obesity epidemic - there are always going to be people, though, who don't care.  It would be helpful for those of us who do care.

  3. Its always nice to know how many calories you´re eating.. So I think its a good idea..

  4. I appreciate it.

Yes, I know a burger and fries aren't good for you, but a lot of things that seem like they would be reasonably healthy (chicken sandwiches, pasta, stir fries) often have a lot of hidden fat that you'd never guess.  Even things like burgers that are obviously not healthy, it's useful to know *how* bad it is for you to be able to work it into my overall eating plan as a treat.

It's not as though you have to read it if it bothers you, and if it bothers you because you don't want to be scared by what you're eating then you probably should be reading it.

  5. annoying

  6. I don't think it would change many eating habits because I'm sure they already know what is good and bad for them. People like what they like and usually ignore all the nutrition stuff.

Still, I think it's a good idea mainly just to see the ingredients and get a fair warning about any allergy causing components.

  7. they shouldn't do it.

people should figure if they are eating a double burger with cheese and a big bun that it is fattening
