What are your thoughts on the FABER vs PULVER fight?

What are your thoughts on the FABER vs PULVER fight?

I think its a great oppertunity for Pulver to finish up his career as a champion(not saying this is his last fight)  If he could beat Faber and defend a couple of times he will sleep a lot easier at night after he retires knowing he went out on top.

That said I think Faber will be too much for Pulver in all aspects except the stand up striking, I think Pulver hits a little harder and has better technique but have a feeling that Pulver will end up on his back and have a tough time getting Faber away.  I would love to see Pulver pull it off but my prediction is Faber by TKO second round.

PULVER WAS GOOD IN HIS TIME. BUT HE IS JST DELAYIN THE INEVITABLE WHICH IS RETIREMENT. HE IS GONNA GET OWNED BY FABER. FABER TKO

Pulver's only chance of winning is by KO.  Faber is too good of a wrestler.  I expect Faber to win by submission.

Ehhh...

Ive always been suspect of Jens Pulver's true tallent. He came up in a newly formed division that never truely had time to pool top tallent. Then the UFC made an example out of him when he left and essentially black balled him from more top fights.

I can't wait for this fight because Faber and Pulver are 2 of my favorite fighters. I think Faber has an advantage but Pulver is undefeated at 145lbs. I hope it will be a great fight and I am rooting for Pulver because he is the Underdog. I was watching WEC the other night and Frank Mir said Faber has been Champ since he was 3-1. He is 20-1 now. That is an amazing accomplishment.

The people who say Pulver has no chance on the ground must not know that he was an All American wrestler in college and beat Cub Swanson on the ground in 30+ seconds.
