  1. Alicia Sacramone, and don't you love listening to the commentating?  I can't stand Al, but I'm glad they got Bela on there.  I thought that the scoring at this Olympics has been outrageous, and I don't agree with the way they have scored on almost all events, men and women.  I can't find anything wrong in Shawn Johnson's routine, and yet they found 8 tenths to take off.  Ridiculous!  I believe that the Chinese girl didn't get a low enough score for her mistakes, and I believe this girl doesn't deserve it either.  What hurt Alicia is that she had a low start value for vault #2 and she didn't stick either of her landings.  But come on!  The judging has been unacceptable, and this kind of judging can't continue.  It sure looked to me that the Chinese had an unfair advantage.

  2. Good for her.  I don't remember the last time North Korea won an olympic medal in women's gymnastics

  3. Alicia Sacramone was jipped, again. She didn't stick her landings true, but she was one of what, two vaulters who DIDN'T step out of bounds or fall on their knees in the landing.

Yes, her start value was lower but with the awful landings shown from some of the other gymnasts, she should have at least been awarded bronze.

  4. yeah that was very unfair because that korean did a jump that was so bad and she stepped out of bounds and almost fell, she actually got gold! i thought alicia sacramone did the best.

  5. WHAT? The Korean girl did a great job, sure she landed out of bounds, but she was penalized 0.3 for it. Her start values were much higher than Alicia. Sucks for Alicia to come in 4th behind a chinese girl who fell on a vault, but her too, the start values were much higher than Alicia's.

Learn how they are scored before you go bashing people!

  6. Alicia got jipped again on a medal. The Korean girl did horrible! She handed her rotations, but stepped outta bounce both times! This olympics is redicilious this year!

  7. Bela shouldn't be complaining. His American team in Atlanta got the benefit of hometown judging just like the Chinese are getting in Beijing. And he's not an impartial observer either. It's funny that the only time he didn't gripe about judging was when the medals were won by a Romanian and two Americans - his two countries.
