This detoxification process was pioneered by Dr. Max Gerson, and much information both supporting and denouncing it can be found throughout internet. I just wanted to know your general feelings towards it, as it still remains a controversial therapy.

  1. I know some people that swear by them, although I have never tried one.

  2. Very dangerous indeed.  Many have gotten sick off of this stuff.  In fact coffee is bad for you period.

  3. Hi: I had a number of coffee enemas, and I can only add to the confusion and controversy. To the best of my knowledge, the theory is that the caffeine in coffee will stimulate the liver to detoxify. I did feel jittery after the enemas, at least some of them. This jitteriness has never occurred to me from drinking coffee.

I can't split myself in two and do a bunch of enemas with coffee and a bunch of enemas without coffee to tell you (or me) the difference.

My overall opinion on enemas and colonics is that they might make you feel refreshed and energetic for a day or two. However, the effect quickly wears off. Of course, others will have different opinions.

I wonder if I should have tried Starbucks coffee or maybe a mocha cappuccino.

  4. very stimulating to administer ,

  5. Coffee goes in the mouth, not up the butt.
