What are your thoughts on the name Eastyn for a girl?

It is most definitely creative and unique! I think it sounds like a lot of other names ending in "n" these days - Kaylyn, Ian, Peyton, etc. It fits in with the trend of the time.

Lame.  Naming a kid is not a game to see who can find the most obscure names or spellings.  The kid has to live with what you pick.  Grow up and stop playing games with someone else's life.

Only thing that came to mind is my softball years as there is a big softball/baseball company called Easton. And personally I think it is trying to be too unique. However all that matters is what you think of the name. Good luck and congratulations.
