What are your thoughts on the ribcap or other d3o gear?

Anyone used one? I just got mine (with StructUre) and haven't had a chance to try it out on the slopes yet but I hit my head against the wall a few times and it definitely works with flat surfaces.

I've never worn a helmet snowboarding before but if anyone knows what the ribcap is like when you actually wipe out with it I'd like to hear.
