What are your thoughts on tonight's fight with De La Hoya and Forbes?

Does anyone else expect the Un expected?

I love that line so much for tonight... because I feel as De La Hoya should easily win... but the Unexpected is that Forbes will pull the upset and beat him...

but then again, Forbes could also be asked / forced to take a dive, because Roger and Pretty Boy Floyd both lose out big time on the re match later on this year if Forbes beats Oscar.

What does everyone else think ?

I think this fight stinks! I think Steve was one of the best pound for pound fighters at one time, I really liked him a wile back but he needed to retire a few years back & now he is fighting Oscar at a much heavier weight? come on you have to be an idiot to think that this fight would be a competitive fight. Yah Steve can get a win because anything can happen, but only for that reason.

If Steve wins it will be a HUGE upset, I mean major but anyone who really is dumb enough to believe that he can win probably also thought Alfonso Gomez had a chance against Cotto. In fact they may also believe that Peter Manfredo can fight or that Sergio Mora is a contender! HA! this is an insult to boxing, Oscar is perpetrating a fraud to the boxing community by saying this is a tough fight.

Oscar is a chicken sh#t for not fighting Margarito, Williams, Quintana or any of these true challengers. This is another Cotto -vs Gomez deal & I didn't even mention Cotto for the sake of Goldies health.

All he is doing is trying to secure the future of Golden Boy Promotions, he is about to retire & he along with every sport writer, promoter & professional boxer knows that his promotional company would go down the drain without him. Thats it, PERIOD thats all he is doing. Now if he beats Steve which is expected it will be the only credible (if you want to call it that) black fighter that he ever beat.
