i was glad to see some smaller countries enter the olympics this year .like ,palastine,..and some indian ocean isalnds and some new pacific islands nations. and it was nice to see some women athletis in some muslim nations..but what was more intresting to me..as a greek.. CYPRUS entres as a country every olympics  yet turkish cyprus cant. even though they claim the island as thier country for turkish cypriots it just goes to show you to whom cyprus trully belongs and is reconized by all the world. was also supprised at the number of chinas athletes wow some 600 plus.but it would be a bonus for china to welcome tibet as acountry to participate...they had the chance to show the world but looks like china not giving in .. to basic human rights.but it was all good theatrical wise..loved the lighting of the flame. and amazing choregrahy.....

I really enjoy this part of the ceremony.  I love to see all the people that have come to represent their country with their hopes and dreams.   Everyone looks so happy and proud.....I love seeing the costumes, the flags, representatives of the entire world.  Not all athletes are equal in their abilities, but in this parade of nations, everyone is equal, for they are driven by the same ideal.

I was thinking that I think someone might die this year in the olympics, there'll be a bomb or something, it isnt wishful thinking, I just think it may happen. China has its issues over there and now they're sending americans over too, it seems like there may be some trouble. personal opinion.
