  1. Angela's Ashes- Well, I loved this book because Frank McCourt was just such a funny child. I love books that span the character's childhood because it's so great to see them learn. I am also Irish, and I've always wanted to visit Ireland, so it was a great book for that purpose.

James and the Giant Peach- Although it is a kid's book, I love Roald Dalh and his books. He is not afraid to write what he wants to write, such as using the word 'a**' in children's books. James and the Giant Peach is one of my favorites because it's so much fun and reminds me of being little again.

Catcher in the Rye- Everyone reads this book and sees a little of themselves in Holden Caufield. Whether that is a good or bad thing I do not know. But, I love this book because, like Holden, I have depression, I go to a boarding school, and think everybody is a 'phony'. I have always just loved the book and what Holden thinks about everything.

  2. Travels by Michael Crichton

    Shogun by James Clavell

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

  3. The Stand by Stephen King - I am just waiting for this to happen to the world. It is such a great story too.

Jane Erye - I just find this book endearing and never tire of reading or listening to it on audio.

The Arthur Trilogy by Bernard Cornwall - I think this book is the best Arthur story, I like how it is told by Derfel the Sazon Slave turned war lord.  It is just a fantastic read.

  4. the chronicles of spiderwick-because its so adventurful (sorry might not know how to spell that)

beyond the dusk-its sooo cool...annd it sounds so reall

bridge to terebithia-cause its so sadd and it talks about friend ship so much

  5. Book 1- Series of Unfortunate Events-Lemony Snicket (I couldn't choose one so I just said the whole series)

Why? Because there isn't always happy endings, but books always have them. None of these books end with a 'Happily Ever After'. This ending also makes you want to read more. My last reason is that Lemony Snicket is a fantastic writer, and is very descriptive, which I love

    Book 2-Twilight-Stephenie Meyer

Why? It is a beautiful love story, but also has action. It isn't all lovey dovey. Also, it is under different circumstances than a normal love story would be, with Edward being a vampire and all. I also love the other 3 books in the twilight saga.

    Book 3-Because of Winn-Dixie-Kate DiCamillo

Why? It's just a beautiful story, and is written so well, it can make you laugh, it can make you cry, it's just wonderful. (I actually think I might read that again.)

This was extremely hard for me, other books that I love are:

    -The Hobbit-J.R.R. Tolkien

    -Swan Song-Colin Thiele

-The Fabbity Fab Confessions of Georgia Nicolson-Louise Rennison (series)

    -New Moon (Twilight saga)

    -Eclipse (Twilight saga)

    -Breaking Dawn (Twilight saga)

    -The BFG-Roald Dahl

    -Boy Overboard-Morris Gleitzman

    -Girl Underground-Morris Gleitzman

-The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe-C.S. Lewis

-Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing-Judy Blume

OK, well I am going to stop now, because I am probably going to far. :)

  6. The Hobbit - It is the beggining of epic fantasy, a true masterpiece of fantasy literature.

Ender`s game - I loved it. Amazing science fiction. Orson scott Card is a genius.

    Charles Bukowski

  7. shoeless joe

    the natural

    iowa baseball confederacy

    i like baseball.

  8. Any by: Chuck Palahniuk- hes gruesome but captivating

Jodi Picoult- my fave author, her books are controversial     l                               and so emotional

Tamora Pierce: very sweet, and good adventure stories

  9. The Book Thief - Meets my interests, amazing writing, very hooking, interesting, touching. It was extremely sad, and many events happened throughout the book. Once I started it, I didn't want to put it down.

The Westing Game  - Interesting, quite short, hooking. The plot was interesting and unusual and the intro was very well writen.

Ransom - Very hooking, wasn't very long, and had a good plot. Quite frightning when you compare it to reality. Lois Duncan is a very good author.

  10. Okay well.

    1) The Tomorrow Series by John Marsden (australian)

Reasons: His writing skills are excellent and he knows how to capture a reader attention with all the action/romance/thrill throughout the series. I was hooked on it and it was the best gift I ever got from Dad for Christmas. I read it three times.

    2) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

R: She makes Bella seems like us when we are vunerable, so in other words we can relate to Bella and her POV in the series. Yes her skills may a bit off but it does get your attention.

    3) Harry Potter (the series) by JK Rowling (it was expected...)

R: Well to be honest. This book is a great plot ever from the beginning of the first book, the way she had written it, it bound to cast a spell across the world as Harry Potter attracts more kids to read and enjoyed it, plus adults can read it and not feel childish :D.

I also noticed no ones has yet posted Narnia? But I enjoyed reading the Chronicles of Narnia, so that is also a good series. :D

  11. Just three? No can do. A list of my favourite books would fill a library. It's like asking me to pick my favourite singer/band.

  12. Well someone I would have to say,

Vampirates by Justin Somper- it is a mysterious ad unpredictible tale. It isn't like anything else I have read and the style of the writing keeps me constantly interested. One of the first books I could NEVER put down.

Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer- I love a romance and fantasy and this is both in one. The characters are loveable and I can't seem to put those books down.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer- This is just a fantastic book. Great ideas and great storylines. Way different to twilight but still amazing and easy to read. I underswtood everything even when the story plot could have come out sounding so confusing. The fantasy and mystery of it is fun to read.

It may not be that order but I did love all of those books!!!
