    Persuasion

    A Tale of Two Cities

    Jane Eyre

    David Copperfield

As you can see, I gravitate towards Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, though I left out one of each of theirs on this list and added Charlotte Bronte's masterpiece. Mansfield Park and Great Expectations would have been in the top ten.

That's a great list of books!

    A Tale of Two Cities

    Tess of the D'Urbervilles

    The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

    The Catcher in the Rye

  15. 1.Catcher in the Rye (one long rant, good but others don't like it)

2.Adventures of Huck Finn (contraversial but good)

3.Ethan Frome (annoying read but great symbolism)

4.My Antonia (wow someone outside of nebraksa and my English teachers has heard of Cather)

5.A Tale of Two Cities (can get confusing, may want to use sparknotes to keep the characters straight)

  16. 1. Madame Bovary

    2. Anna Karenina

    3. Ethan Frome

    4. Pride and Prejudice

    5. Great Expectations.

Madame Bovary is definitely the best by far, though.
