  1. Everybody's got their skeletons, but not every gun-toting, pro-life, anti-g*y rights mother of 5 is running for Vice President!

    She's a real phoney!

In this day and age where unprotected s*x could lead to more than just pregnancies, why didn't Palin teach their children the importance of protection, if not abstinence?

There's Aids, all kinds of STDs.

I do not think Palin is an informed mother, let alone an informed V.P. candidate.

Then there's her lack of care about consequences.

    Drilling for Oil in Alaska.

Not teaching her children safe s*x.

Abusing her power to get her relative fired.

Her character is dubious and suspect.

But that's what the GOP is all about, except she's young and inexperience.

She didn't know enough to cover her tracks well.

  2. The convention was a pure hate-fest. The repubs have controlled Washington for the last 8 years and there wasn't a single word on what they are going to do, how they are going to help anyone - just an endless series of childish schoolyard taunts against Barack Obama. If a man from Mars was watching, he would think Barack Obama was George Bush's name. The whole thing was pitched at a six-yearold's mentality, which probably explains Palin's popularity with the extreme right. God, I would really hate to see her in power. At least Cheney knew which laws he was breaking and why they existed, but Palin is an extremist who is totally ignorant of the law and the constitution. She thinks the founding fathers put "under God" in the pledge of allegiance.

  3. It's interesting because at first I was on the fence with my views about her.  But as I was listening to CNN and the Situation Room and other programs like that I'm beginning to see who she really is.

First off, her speech was just a chance for her to display how "funny" she is- with her nonsense sarcasm.  She talked, or should I say "joked" about Obama.  Ok, yeah, a sentence about her family, then 5 sentences about how "a community organizer has no responsibilities."  Look Sarah, don't make me laugh, or disgust me with your unattractive jokes, tell me what you're gonna bring to the table.  Don't tell me what you "have done," tell me what you "will do."

All this media attention on her is distracting me from the issues.  According to political analysts, if not for her, McCain wouldn't even b able to carry the ticket by himself.  She was the "strategy" he needed to get into the white house.  So is McCain the strongest link here, or is it Sarah?

She needs to go home and be a mom.  And yes, yes, yes i'm all for women empowerment, but this whole "I've got to prove myself because I'm a woman" thing is just frankly annoying.  Even the Alaskins were saying that she has this "black and white" mentality.  That if you don't see it her way, you're out.  It's pride.  They even said she likes to be in the spotlight.

America has some serious governmental issues right now, and I want someone in the white house who's heart is in it, FOR ME, and not bragging about themselves.

Just because she's energetic and has a pretty face doesn't mean that she can be the next president, and she will be if something happens to 75 yr old McCain.  Get off your political high-horse and put your heart in it.  Besides, you've got a pregnant teen, conservative.

  4. Pros, she has a nice ***

Cons: She thinks God directed the war (nut job)

She wants to teach creationism in schools (nut job)

She wants to follow a leader who wants to be in Iraq for 100 years (idiot)

  5. I like her. It is refreshing to here a politician tell the pundants and the press to **** off.

  6. I like her. Seriously her nickname should be Sarah Obama. She knows how to talk, very articulate and brings to the republican party what obama brought to the democratic party. Both lack "experience" but I think they both could have better judgment to run office.

  7. pros:  pro-life, conservative, smart, confident, strong

    cons: unknown, attacked

  8. Sarah Palin is an impressive woman.  Well versed and educated.  She obviously has done a good job as governor of Alaska as her approval rating is 80%.  She doesn't seem to be tied down to any big interest groups which leads me to believe that she is a free thinker and will not owe anyone any favors.

Of the four candidates, (Obama, Biden as well as McCain), she is the only one with executive experience.

The Convention went well considering in was shorten by the storm but all in all they completed their task.  Politics is politics no matter what party one belongs to.

  9. PROS:

HAS RAISED MILLIONS OR DOLLARS FOR ALASKA

    IS STRAIGHT FORWARD

DID NOT DENY BRISTOL'S PREGNANCY BUT THOUGHT OF IT AS A BLESSING

HAD A BABY WITH A MENTAL DEFECT

    HAS A GREAT STAGE PRESENCE

GOT RID OF A BRIDGE TO NO WHERE

    CONS:

BEEN SAID SHE ABUSED HER POWER AS GOVENOR

    LACK OF EXPIERENCE

I DID LIKE HER PLATFORM ABOUT HOW SHE CONNECTED WITH THE TELEVISION AUDIENCE,AND HOW SHE TALKED ABOUT OBAMA'S SUDDEN CHANGE IN POSITION ON KEY TOPICS.
