  1. I think nobody should have a right to abort because they just were not prepared to be a parent, unless you became pregnant by way of rape or incest or medically your life is in danger.

There needs to be a more easier way around the red tape of those wanting to adopt a new baby and those who dont want a baby, but dont want to harm it either..... the mother is the only fighting chance that child has at a chance to exist.

First and foremost, we dont know it all, If God does exist, then what universal laws are being broken here ? perhaps some of these children are intended to be the peace makers of the world.

  2. Abortion is a form of murder, what about the right of the child to live???

Abortions is the the new holocaust, MILLIONS are killed every year round the world

  3. Shouldn't be used as contraception, otherwise it's fair enough.

And the award for the longest answer goes to the god botherer above.

Typically, the only answer from someone professing to be a Catholic is a man. Exactly the kind of person who told my old mate Trish that she was going to h**l because she'd committed murder because she had an abortion as a Catholic. Hence he gets utterly no respect from me. What's worse is she believes it. He'd have one mistake punished forever, by wrecking a potentially brilliant career in this life or eternal punishment in the next. Religion is sickening sometimes.

Wonder what the average Catholic woman thinks about it?

  4. It should be cheaper and easier to get.

  5. I think there are a few situations where it is almost necessary, and that to avoid medical circumstances it's essential.

However, as a form of contraception I feel that it's wrong.

  6. i think everyone should be risponsible for their own acts, though sometimes it is sadly the best thing to do :(

  7. im for it. a baby isnt a baby until it takes its first breath. there are good and bad. the good : no baby, no financial problems from a child. the bad : possible to not get pregnant again, blaming yourself for the loss of your future child, living your life (if your young). if the circumstances are right then abortion, if you just want to get rid of it then have the baby and put it up for adoption in a loving home for a couple that might not be able to have one.

  8. very personal....and private.

  9. too much of it happening but...... i would rather that than people bring a child into this world to be neglected   or abused

i think young kids should be taught more about prevention  / relationships and love before it gets to that stage

  10. Pro Choice. It should be between a woman and her Doctor.

  11. Pro-choice.

  12. Very much against it. I would agree in cases of rape or the child being deformed. I do not agree with abortion being used as a last resort form of contraception !

  13. I'm against it, but if the baby's or the mother's life is at risk then I'm for it.

  14. pro-choice

if you ban it youll just get back-street abortions

abortions laws in ireland are much stricter than here.  result?  many irish women save up and come over here for abortions

its like prostitution - youll never stop people wanting abortions, so much better to provide a safe means of abortion

  15. I'm in favor of it, especially early on in the pregnancy.  A three month old fetus has less brain than a rat, yet we have no problem setting rat traps.  Also abortion reduces the surplus population and eliminates many children from single parent families and genetically defective children.  It should be encouraged.  It leads to less crime, ignorance and poverty.

  16. Against it...

But my friend pregnant, and she's keeping it.

She has no idea.. There are many way of preventing pregnancy

But yet i know they are not 100% But still..

  17. NO to abortion.  Someone mentioned prostitution.  If we make prostitution legal is that a good thing?  No it's not.  It still promotes moral decay.  Life begins when that sperm and that egg unite into one I don't care what anyone says.  When the two have become one then a human being is created....period.

So we have legalized the killing of human beings.  So who champions the cause of the little child that has no voice in the womb?  Who speaks for the baby?

Why not, rather, do it like this.  If the mother wants an abortion then force her to have the baby and put it up for adoption.  Make it a law that she has to adopt out the baby.  Then you pierce the baby in a certain area to signify it is an adopted out baby whose mother wanted an adoption and enter the babies information in a computer and when the child reaches the age ( approved by congress ) to make a rational decision...then ask the child if he'd like to be killed.

    Sound crazy?

Sure it is.  But how many of them would allow you to kill them?  Do you think the percentages would be the same?  Yeh, it's crazy alright...but not nearly as crazy as legalized killing.  Call it what it is.

Think about what we're doing people.

It's a little baby that wants to live just as you want to live and we allow someone else to take his/her life.  Do people think about what that life will become?  What is Obama's mother had aborted?  What if your mother aborted?

It's so sad it's beyond belief and people flippantly act like it's a matter of choice.

"Oh, I screwed my boyfriend for the upteenth time last month and now I'm pregnant.  That sucks so I guess I'll abort because my parents will kill me."

Do this before you abort.  Look down and ask your baby if it's ok.  Ask your baby.  Ask God.  Don't ask your boyfriend or your parents.  Ask God and ask the baby.

How crazy is it that we've legalized the killing of infants?  At least give the child up for adoption. PLEASE.  I'll take it!  Email me at kencamera@gmail.com and I'll take all the babies you want to give me.....PLEASE.  And once I raise them and help them to become wonderful loving people you can come back and see your baby anytime you want to.

It's a life.  Don't be fooled by all of these crazy replies you're going to see here.  It's life and it's precious and you will NEVER ever regret having your baby.  It's the most wonderful precious gift you can ever receive.  It's not a curse.  Again, though, if you think it is...just give it to someone else.  Don't care how mad your parents are going to be at you...please...please simply give it to someone else.  Don't kill your child.  Please don't do it.

Get help...talk to people...go to a church somewhere and seek out someone Godly who will help you..no matter what your situation...seek help and there are people out there who will help you.

May the Lord richly bless you and your baby!

Maybe he or she, too, will be running for president one day.

  18. I think to many people use it as a form of contraception, instead of what it is supposed to be, a last resort.

  19. I am a mix between Pro-Life and Pro-Choice, as stated in another answer there are some medical reasons that make this necessary.  As for those younger or anyone who is not ready to have children that just feel they can have an abortion rather than using protection, I am completely against!  Also, anyone contemplating abortions I feel need to have their mind made up BEFORE the fetus reaches a certain weekly/monthly "age".

  20. I think in some cases you have to go for it.

But otherwise it's really unfair because some people really want children but they can't have them, imagine how they fill when they hear that someone that can have them abort it. They will really feel heartbroken!

  21. I'm also Pro-Choice

  22. I'm Pro Choice! We should be able to decide what to do with our bodies.

  23. Against it....

Some people say it's ok the case of rape and such...but it's not the baby's fault, why should they have to pay the ultimate price?

  24. i believe its murder.

  25. abortion is murder except on medical grounds.i speak as a catholic

  26. 100% Pro Life.

  27. i am pro choice, i think abortion is generally speaking a  'good' thing as it is better than bringing an unwanted life into this world which may live with poverty, abuse and a lack of caring parents

having said that I do think that it is quite a horrific thing and should only be used as a last resort, prevention is better than cure, and with the multitude of contraceptive methods and morning after pill i dont really see why people have to resort to abortion, i think that anyone using abortion as an alternative to contraception should be penalised in some way - although dont ask me how

you will forgive me if i disregard the views of the frothy mouth religious people who think that contraception and masturbation are inherently wrong also because it is a waste of 'potential' life.

Humans are seperated from the animals because we have the power of sentient awareness, an unborn baby does not have that, so i see things as being the lesser of two bad cases

  28. i think it is sad that some women have several

there are circumstances when it may be for the safety of the mother to abort and for other medical reasons

but how many abortions are for medical grounds as opposed to the number used to abort babies because effective contraception was not used?

personally would find it difficult to consider having an abortion because it wasn't a good time for me to have a baby, or that i would have more money later or ....or .....or ......prevention is better than cure

  29. Pro-Life!

Life begins at contraception. Even the definition of LIFE confirms this.

LIFE: the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death

When contraception begins, there is "the capacity for growth and continual change." I do understand that people make mistakes but a person cannot just kill an unborn child because she can't handle the responsibility. She made the decision to have s*x, whether it is with a condom or not. She chose that risk.

A bumper sticker I saw said "Choose Life. Your mother did."
