It would be appreciated if you could give me your views of cloning. Do you think of it as a pro or a con. And why?

  1. Pro..but that's only..it i get one of the new Pamela Anderson's

  2. The Food and Drug Administration recently approved the use of cloned animals or their offspring as food.  I disaprove of this decision for two reasons.  First, one of the reasons given for approval was that "I can't imagine any negative effects from using cloned animals for food."  I think this says more about the FDA's lack of imagination rather than the possibility of any negative of cloning.  Second, I can think of a negative.  The reason for using cloned animals in food production is to provide producers with animals that have desireable traits such as a cow that provides alot of milk.  Years ago, the Irish began eating alot of one particular type of potato that produced alot of food.  Then, when a blight struck that destroyed that type of potato in particular, there was no alternative food to turn to and people starved to death.  Using cloned food could result in a similar event.  Genetic variety exists in nature for a reason.  Having just one genetic blueprint for our food stock is putting all our eggs in one basket.  A disease that would kill one of those animals would kill ALL of them.

  3. cloning is the ****. B-)

  4. I would love to clone myself x 2, so that I could send myself in to my job to work for me (maybe a couple more jobs, too)  and send myself to do all that family stuff I don't like to do, like reunions, weddings, funerals etc.  It would be great, and I always have preferred my own company!

  5. i could write my 6 page essay on this that i did when i was in high school. but im going to condence it into only a few thoughts

when you clone a human it is a human. but since you made it is it yoursm to keep as property or does that human get the same rights it deserves as a living and breathing human.

im not purely against cloning it has its usess. corruption is contagious and cloning is easily corupted.

  6. I'm all against it.  idk, it just seem that its going do more harm than good. Especially when its in the wrong hands, as most new ideas go.

  7. .What gives the right for people to play God,  they all should try to find a cure for cancer or the common cold wouldn't that be more beneficial

  8. Cloning an entire being is wrong.  Should I be clonned, I would honestly kill my clone.  It is wrong and immoral.  If it was meant for us to have a clone, we would have an identical twin.  Cloning an organ is fine, however.  A liver, eye, heart, etc, what-ever is fine.  As long as it conforms to the statement below.

I am good with Stem Cell Research; providing it is in a safe manner, that will not harm a fetus or any type of conceived being.  I read an article in Science News that showed how females that are virgins beget stem cells.

Is those can be harvested, then be my guest and take them.  But if a living fetus or zygote must be destroyed, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
