  1. global warming has been proven for the time period we're in, but the records only go back so far. in the 1970s they were worried about global cooling, and appearently if we survived a nuclear war, there would be global cooling. so i just decided to stop caring. i do think we need to stop messin up the environment and produciing so much waste, but not necessarly for the prevention of global warming. and plus the stuff they say about it is still just a theory with greenhouse gasses and such. the only thing that can truly prove it wrong or right is time. but even if it is dangerous, we will run out of fossil fuels within either like 30 or 15 years anyway, so we will have to switch to the environmentally safe fuels, and many problems will be solved. im not even gonna waste my time with a gasoline powered car. im goin straight to alternative fuels for my first car (im 15)

    and animal rights

I am christian and i think eating meat is ethical. but the way we do it is horrible. we get the animals, raise them in cramped little cells and then kill them. its so messed up. then people who take horrible care of their pets, they shold be punished and i feel they will be either in this life or the next. i just like free ranged meat and eggs. and i really cant believe veal. whoever made that was sooooooooooo just like evil! they put those little baby cows in little cells tied to a rope to keep them from moving around. but yeah thats my views on that hahaha

  2. Here is another question.  Since WWII how many nuclear bombs have been set off?  How do you think that they affected the atmosphere?  I feel that they didn't help with several of them being set off and the explosion reaching way up into the upper atmosphere.  Why don't anyone address this issue when talking about how global warming got started.

Ted Kennedy Dumps Fuel into Nantucket Sound

Ted Kennedy has called Nantucket Sound near his Massachusetts estate “a national treasure” — but that didn’t stop the senator from having oil dumped from his yacht into its waters.

A local photographer spotted an oil slick coming from Kennedy’s yacht Mya as Kennedy and his guests left the vessel in a launch following a race that ended in Hyannis, the Cape Cod Today newspaper reported.

The lensman was so shocked that he rowed his dinghy out to question the crew member left aboard the yacht.

He asked the crewman, “What the h**l are you doing?”

The crewman said that diesel fuel had gotten into the bilge and he was told to dump it.

When the photographer pointed out that the yacht was moored in coastal waters near shellfish beds and people swimming, the crewman replied, “Whatever.”

Cape Cod Today published a photo showing the oil slick emanating from Mya.

As Newsmax reported earlier, Kennedy has opposed a proposal to construct a wind farm in Nantucket Sound to produce cheap, clean energy. Asked why, he said: “That’s where I sail.”

  4. The present Global Warming is real. What is not known is how long it is going to stay or whether it is a short term climatic aberration within inter-glacial event.

Rapid industrialisation has increased  heat generating and reflecting capacity which has disturbed the heat exchange budget but we still do not know how much of  this is contributing to Global Warming and how much is being contributed by increase in solar flares or sun activities.

Certainly animals have not contributed in any way in increase in Global Warming  and they too have rights to live as "life forms " on this unique planet. They need human help to exercise their rights.

    thnks
