I have posted a couple of questions (sometimes twice thanks to the Yahoo answers vortex).

I just wanted to know and if you could answer the following questions:

a) If you knew about or if an issue of homophobia from a council or from the police in a community in general and no one did anything about it, what country would you expect it to come from?

b) If it were brought to your attention what would you do?

c) If you were experiencing homophobia what would you expect from your community?

d) What would you expect from the LGBTI community, namely government funded support groups?

  1. A) USA

    B) Live my life as I normally do

    C) I've experienced racism all my life.  I expect there is nothing my community can do.

    D) I would expect "the government" to do what they've always done, nothing (positive) & say its something.

I dont hate g*y people(specifically men & fre*ks -girls/boys- N general), or want anything bad 2 happen 2 them. I, honestly, just dont want them touching me or anything that I may touch. My best friend knows a very wealthy g*y man whom she insist is SO clean. They can bathe 10 x a day, fact is they play N or around p**p. (same goes 4 all freaky people who dont get that GOD gave us everything 4 a purpose) We have a hole N the side of our head (Ear) its purpose is 2 hear NOT have a p***s (also a purpose) shoved N it.

    E. Coli - Bacteria that live N the large intestines. If they stay there they don’t usually cause any trouble. However, if they get N2 the stomach or small intestines, they can cause cramps, vomitting, diarrhea, and even DEATH. Sources are:

-Rimming.-is the popular term 4 analingus; it is when you l**k or kiss your lover's anal opening 4 erotic stimulation

-Orgies where you may l**k an unwashed p***s after it has been in or near an a**s

I think of it like Mowgli (The Jungle Book). He thought he was an animal cuz he was raised like 1. Same thing with g**s, men specifically. They think they were born this way cuz its all they've ever known or he was "touched". Yet if this boy was born & had a 'mans man' father(not 1 of those "Dads" who "touches" his son) that took up 70% of the boys open time, he would NOT think he is a female or relate more 2 women than men.

    Most g*y girls, I know, R g*y because of

    1) the difficulty of having a true relationship with men(including showing off 4 them) - I hear "there R no good men...men R liers...I cant believe he did that 2 me", etc.  I have family members who, from young, I saw with "boyfriends &/or baby daddys", years later they'll come around with their "partner", a year later be pregnant, & continue on this cycle

    2) being messed with in someway(doesnt have 2 B physical) when they were younger.  I have met girls who wouldnt even consider a guy and generally they would eventually admit 2 something happening 2 or around them when they were little.  I think, based off the worlds history, its hard for all girls.  We R just getting 2 where a female running 4 president doesnt look/feel "weird" 2 everybody.  Women have always been thought of and treated as inferior.  Its getting better but it still exist.  So its not so hard 2 C why women would not B attracted 2 men.  In my childhood experiences(born '78) there were things I saw that could have scared me 2 the point where men just turned me off(men beat up women alot N my environment & N movies), but there was also a level of "this is just how things R" N the atmosphere....

I feel sorry for anybody who's unable 2 function N the natural, GOD intended, way.  I say natural because all throughout nature & the history of civilization we can C what is meant 2 B.  I have heard people talk about certain g*y(generally male) animals, but they R not g*y, they R not doing it 4 pleasure its making the other submissive.  Like a parent putting their child N time out or N my case giving a spanking-which I'm 4(I do not feel abused, I got MAYBE 7 within the 1st 12 yrs of my life).

Sorry, its so long.  I really want 2 help the g**s.

  2. Homophobia is stupid. Homophobics are stupid. They are insensitive to other people's feelings. I would never be friends with a homophobe.

  3. A. I would think that could happen in virtually any country.

    B. Do about what? What do you mean by "an issue of homophobia"? Was someone physically harmed, or did someone who works for the government just make a stupid comment? What I would do depends on the severity of the offense.

    C. N/A, but if I were g*y I'm sure I wouldn't like it and would hope that others would help me if I needed it.

    D. I don't believe there should be any government funded support groups for LGBTI community, or the straight community, either.

  4. a) I would not have thought it would be in England, Cornwall and Devon I think are the areas. Apparently the police are involved in intimidation tactics according to the Pink News UK.

    b) It is very difficult to fight the police on their turf. I would suggest going to your members of government with your concerns.

    c) I would think some members of the community would rally to stop this hate. However I would also expect some individuals agree with the police which is a sad commentary.

    d) I expect they would bring every power they had to bear on the community and government to stop this. In the press there seems to be a perceived inaction from Parliament. An old quote one of my favourites.."What you permit you promote"

  5. a America ....or any country 2 b honest

    b I'm not sure

    c reassurance

    d I wouldn't expect much

  6. a) Any Country really

    b) Nothing

    c) Nothing

    d) Nothing... homosexuals should just keep that stuff behind closed doors...

  7. I want to know why it's called a phobia.

I don't like beetroot, it doesn't mean I'm scared of it.

  8. Why don't you do your own homework instead of mooching the answers off of us?

  9. I'm sorry... I'm a bit confused as to how to answer the questions (I have a new baby, so my head's a bit fuzzy before 4pm, lol.)

I will share my views on homophobia, though.

I find homophobia to be ridiculous and outdated in our modern society. Really-- why should it even matter what anybody else wants to do with their love life? If something has nothing to do with us, and doesn't harm us in any way, then it should not be an issue. *period*

My mother was a L*****n. From her, and many other people in the GLB community, I have learned that homosexuality is something you are born with-- NOT something that is created by sick relatives or bad relationships. (*insert heavy sigh and eye-roll*) I find it hard to believe that "God" would allow his children to be born with such a condition if he finds it so distasteful.

I would like to add (this has nothing to do with your question, but I feel it may benefit some of the more ignorant readers out there) that "gayness" is NOT catchy. I lived with my mother for 20 years and I am as "straight" as they come. I have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful daughters.

Kiki... even if you HAD a valid point; the uneducated way in which you presented it completely overrode any possibility of getting that message across to anyone. It made me a little nauseous to read some of your simple-minded comments. Although, you did successfully give me and my husband a great laugh. Don't worry, your ignorance IS helping g**s; as you're making everyone with similar viewpoints sound ridiculous. Congrats!

  10. a) I live in Indonesia, and that is the case here. Homophobes are somewhat breed upon the society.

    b) I can't do anything about it, as all other g*y people are closeted, and they are happy being in the closet. Because it is safe. People here are cowards.

    c) I don't expect anything from them. But that depends on what degree the homophobic actions are. If they hurt, I expect the society to defend me.

    d) There are no government support group for the LGBT community here. Even the human rights ministry laugh at our face the previous week.

  11. a)  Too many countries to count...why not ask the opposite and you'd get a better response...

    b)  Personally, I would make it known that 'someone' (mainly me) was aware of what was being done and that 'the problem' wouldn't 'just go away' until it was corrected...

    c)  How about indifference and, in some cases (like Fred Phelps)...joy...

    d)  I would expect the same as 'b'...objections to what's happening...
