  1. Consider Wollongong or Newcastle. Just a short hour drive from the city and away from trouble.

Some suggestions in Wollongong. Corrimal or Towradgi for nothern suburbs though more pricy. Dapto or Albion Park for southern suburbs.. Cheap towns, family oriented, plenty of schools, close to tafe and uni.

If you're after the city, then avoid western suburbs such as penrith, campbelltown, macquarie fields. Perhaps Sutherland, Liverpool or Blacktown would suit you.

We don't have college in Australia, we have TAFE and University. It depends largely and what she wants to study. UNSW is a top uni in Sydney, Wollongong University also ranks up there behind the main cities and there are lots of TAFE's around.

  2. did u mean sydney suburbs. if its sydney suburbs

eastern suburbs is best and northern suburbs is expensive

  3. south west of sydney.more fun in the area and mind your own business.

  4. OK.. well avoid the west & south west.. . I live in the south west.. and the crime rate is higher than alof of places.

Where is the college she is going to? that would make it easier for us to help you.

  5. Northern  Beaches. Or areas close like Belrose/Terry Hills/ Frenchs Forest (this is called lower north shore).

Nth Beaches include Mona Vale, collaroy, narrabeen, warriewood, newport, palm beach,

Try to avoid Manly  and Dee Why though.
