What area in calahonda (spain) is there a steep hill and bridge at bottom to get on main road?

  1. Sitio de Calahonda itself starts at the bottom of that hill (at the beach level)...and goes all the way to the top of it.

    The bridge is the underpass of the main highway (Carretera Nacional 340) which takes you out of Calahonda in the direction of Fuengirola - Benálmadena - Torremolinos and Málaga.

    Calahondas main street: Avenida de España has almost a horseshoe shape. It starts at a roundabout ( with 2 streets other streets branching off it that also lead to "El Zoco" shopping center and the underpass), and it goes all the way to the other end of Calahonda, where it exits to  the road N-340 again, this time in the direction: Marbella...(and succesively San Pedro Alcántara, Estepona, San Roque, Gibraltar and Algeciras. )


  2. I agree with the first writer, the main road with all the bars & restaurants running north is locally called 'the strip!'
