  1. It is located in the Brazilian state of Parana, and Puerto Iguazu in the Argentine province of Misiones as well as Ciudad del Este (Paraguay).

    See it:

  2. Thery're on the border in an area called Rio Parana

  3. I believe the area is called the Rosario Region of Argentina. For ease sahe look for the point where Brasil, Argentina and Paraguay all meet. The falls are situated here and form part of the border. the falls however can be viewed from both Argenitinian and Brasilian sides. Argentina has the best walking trails, and you can walk boardwalks over the tops of some of the falls, and take trips actually into the some of the falls by power boats (expect to get very wet!). Brasil however has the most impressive views as you get better views of the waterfalls themselves from Brasil.

When in Iguazu in Argentina you can hire a taxi who will take you across the border (you need your passport) and then to the Brasil side of the park and bring you back a couple of hours later. Most of the hostels in the town can arrange for this, but it will be better to group up with 1 or 2 otrher people to share the cost.

    Hope this helps
