There are many bars and clubs in Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg.

Best thing to me still is the Oranienstraße (don't mess it up with the 'Oranienburger' Straße) in Kreuzberg district, and the WIener and Skalitzer Straße into which it separates in a Y-shape, down from the U-Bahn (subway) Kochstraße to U1 (there irresponsibly called so, as it's above your head) at Schlesisches Tor. Maybe there are not many fashionable bars and clubs, but you've seen a bit of "little Istanbul". Don't worry, people are nice and friendly there.
