  1. The 4th, 5th, or 6th arrondissements are what you are looking for.

  2. For North American type ( Still a lot different and more fun, but just to distinguish from the others ), go to the area around St Dennis and Fauburg.  You can find the Hard Rock Cafe there too.

If you are looking for ultra trendy, go to areas around George cinq and Elysee.  Or around the Rivoli and Opera.  But, most of these places most people will have no chance of even getting inside.

If looking for authentic, try Rue Mufftard. And little streets to the South East direction from Bastille ( This is actually a great place).

But be warned, When it comes to pure dance clubs, most places will not let you in without having an equal number of girls along with you.  And a large number of them would simply not let most people in.

Yes, it is a different world out there.  I know places that locals have not been able to get inside for their life, even after trying again and again

  3. The best places to visit:

    1. Pigalle in the 18th (lots of girls).

    2. Aubervillier (banlieu)

    3. Belleville (20th)

    4. Place d'Italie (14th)

    5. Nation (11th)

But really the best arrondissement is the 19th!  Incredible fun and very inexpensive.

  4. that depends on yourinterest
