There are a few places to go to.. depends really on what sort of music your into....  there is an awesome place called the boulevard - its just near the casino - otherwise there is alot of places on chapel st - bridies is like pubby - which is always a good start - then there is love machine - etc... you just need to walk up chapel st and see which one suits you.. otherwise head into the city!!

the top floor in Crown Casino.  there are a few clubs and you can just walk in, and if you don't like it, you can walk to the next.  also, you can find a cafe area in front of the club, when you meet someone you want to talk with.

also, you can find some bars in Chapel Street in South Yarra, so, you can check it out.  most of them are bars, not really a big club. so, you just need to walk around to see it.

Lygon stree, Carlton has a few bars too, and can see if you like it.  a topless bar in Ruthdown street too.
