  1. All of it. There are way better cities in Florida. Try Tampa, St. Pete or Fort Myers if you're looking for a big city in Florida. Even Fort Lauderdale is better than Jacksonville!

  2. Mostly the north side. Arlington is starting to climb but I don't think the arlington area is that bad.

  3. All of FL is full of crime.  You don't feel safe like you do in other states.  We have a lot of drugs and transient people, meaning people moving in and out of the state all the time.

  4. I'm from jville and you wouldn't catch me on the north side or in  arlington and sin city the other person was right when he said most of the crime is black on black hardly a morning goes by where there isn't a killing reported from the north side ,however orange park area s is good as well the beaches, and most areas on the south side

  5. Just like anywhere else crime is higher in poor areas. Most of the violent crime in Jacksonville is Black on Black between people who know each other.

In higher priced areas around towns there isn't as much crime.

For  adventurous  professionals without children some downtown areas are getting to be safe with lots to do.  Those with children wouldn't want those inner city schools.
