What aresome good topics to debate?

ok so I got my ap history teacher to start more or less of a debate team (more like a club) where we jsut debate anything we want.

someone has already suggest debated views on different religion or religion in general so try to be original and creative thanks!

Definitely something along the lines of destruction (by some laws or practices) vs. helping the environment (more laws, other practices, etc.). Compare the two and that should make a heck of a great debate. :)

1. The economic status of America.

2. Would America not fighting the n***s in WW2 have effected life for Americans today?

3. Compared to education in other developed countries, how is education in the US?

4. How can we improve education in the US?

5. Is Europe (down the time line) really responsible for making America into the country it is today?

6. Why does the US have such a high crime rate compared to other developed nations?
