i would have to go with steve earle.

have you ever heard "valentines day"?

he is rockabilly. but nonetheless a really great song writer.

dylan is another if you get the backwards verses, allot of people don't! and i also think some stones jams have beautiful lyrics. and i cannot forget john hiatt a master songwriter, he writes for all different genres.

van morrison is another. i must stop i could go on and on!

if you can find that steve earle cut, it is really a beautiful

message.
