What ati graphics card would you reccomend (AGP8) that will play the latest games today!?

my price range is 40-50 pounds. i will cope with second hand.also if nvidia agp cards are better then ati then what nvidia would you also reccomend AGP8x

i need fast core speed and gddr memory

Not sure what the conversion to dollars is, but the best agp card I could find in the $25-$50 range is an ATI Radeon x1550.  Most cards will play todays games, you'd just have to turn down the detail.  For about $75-$100 you could get one of ATI Radeon HD cards...

There is an AGP version of the nVidia 7600GT - it's a good card and great value for money. If you look hard enough you should be able to get one for well under 50 pounds.
