Well depends I don't think there should be any problem even if you wear western clothes.However you can even wear Indian clothes like churidhar-kurta(for men),salwar-kameez,sari(for women) etc,.

and second: since i feel for u, i;ll tell u:

any girl can wear a choli suit or sharara if u are close to the ppl getting married.
