i remember the neigbours had blue and white and red and white streamers over their houses and each year we added the other colour to make em rooster fans

sitting on the hill at the old sports ground and bagging keith page

playing junior leage at school in the 4 stone sevens

    lots and lots of memories

as the other guys said we grew up with league and remain loyal to the greatest game on earth

  2. Born in a rugby league town had no choice

  3. I was brought into it.. my brothers played and my mum worked in our local footy club so i was always around it.. I joined up when I was 7 & havent stopped loving it lol best sport in the world

  4. The Rabbitohs

  5. my dad has always watched it. so has my brother, but he hasn't watched for awhile now, ever since his blue & yellow team kept loosing every time he watch a game.

but thats not the answer, this is:

well of course my dad, plus some of my old friends.

once went for the blue & yellow team, now i go for the red, white and blue!

    Go Roosters!

  6. the bump offs and hits my friends do

  7. The tackles , all the great players with athletic ability and the game its self is different to Euro and England Rugby League. I used to watch a bit of the Super league in the UK but it was similar to Rugby (union) and so being from Northampton i just watched Rugby (union). But when i saw the NRL it was  like a different code. The way the brought the ball up was another thing, seeing all the players just with the determination to get the ball to the try line. The players aren't as deep so it sometimes looks like they are all throwing forward passing. Its just one of the best leagues in the world

  8. Was never interested in it until I met my husband-to-be who played for Burwood United then Concord then West Magpies when they won the Presidents Cup.  No other choice but really enjoyed it.

  9. I'm a kiwi so union was what I grew up with...however, when I was 19, I spent a year in Sydney and that's when the NRL bug hit me big time....players like Meninga, Lewis, Daley, Clyde etc etc...they were amazing to watch....hard hits, great runs...awesome!

Union is still my fave but NRL is pretty up there in my estimations....

  10. Watching Renouf's speed, Langers skill and the Broncos jersys just looked so good

  11. My dad got me into it, ever since I have been following it.

My 10yr old son plays in a JRL comp.  I like watching the little guys play lol it's a larf!!

I'm a big Parra fan...yes even though they aren't doing the best at the moment...but I still love'em!!

I'm one of those LOYAL fans...ya know the ones that stick by their clubs even if they aren't doing too well??  That's me, I don't like to swap and change like many people do.

    Go The EELS!!!  =P

  12. a rooster one day, a feather duster the next!

    goose!

  13. the competitive spirit and the biff..of course!

  14. well my whole family watched it so it was always on the tv

    i never really watched it

but then when i had nothing to do i started watching it, whenever my family would go to games i would go along too and then i just started to love it and i couldn't get enough of it :)

now i couldn't live without it

    best sport around!

    GO MANLY!

  15. umm, where I was born like just about everyone else who follows whatever sport it is they they play around where they live
